How content is written, reviewed and updated
Source hierarchy
Facts about test rules, fees, dates and scores come only from the following sources, listed with the review date at the bottom of each page:

- School testing requirements: each school’s own admissions page. School pages restate published requirements and deadlines only, are marked as unofficial, and never state cut-off scores.
Current site-wide review date 2026-08-24; next scheduled review 2026-11-30. Information the organization does not publish (for example the exact month boundaries of testing seasons) is labeled as industry practice.
Who writes and who reviews
- Writing: the ISEEPrep teaching team; some first drafts are produced with AI assistance.
- Review: by risk level. Test rules and registration, fee and date pages (R2/R3) are checked item by item against the E3n pages by the teaching team; service and pricing pages (R4) are confirmed by the business owner; teaching advice (R1) is reviewed by the teaching team.
- Publication: nothing is published without human review.
Original questions
- The test organization does not release past tests; every practice question on this site is written by the teaching team and labeled as original practice.
- Each question has four choices, one correct answer and an explanation of every choice, with the applicable level and skill noted.
- No E3n sample items, What to Expect materials or third-party question banks are copied.
- Results from short practice sets are never converted into ISEE scaled scores, percentiles or stanines.
Review cycle
- Fee, date and policy pages are reviewed every three months; teaching pages every six months.
- Each page shows its last and next review dates; dates change only with substantive updates.
- Each review also checks E3n’s brand and trademark guidance for changes.
Corrections
If something no longer matches the current policy of the test organization, tell us through the contact page. Verified corrections are made the same day and the review date is updated.
AI disclosure
Some content is drafted with AI assistance and all of it is reviewed by the teaching team before publication; fact checking is done by people. This page is the site-wide disclosure.
Relationship to the test organization and trademarks
ISEEPrep is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by E3n (formerly ERB), the organization that administers the ISEE. ISEE and related names are trademarks of their owner and are used here nominatively. Test policies, fees and dates are governed by E3n; registration and scheduling are governed by what appears in the registration account.
